To reward existing customers and onboard new ones, meem has launched a first-of-its-kind program. In this program, an existing meem customer (referrer) can refer an acquaintance, friend, or family member to open an account with meem by sharing their name and contact number. The bank will then reach out digitally to the referred person for account opening.
A referrer is an existing meem customer who has an active OnePack account (as determined by the bank).
A referred person is an acquaintance, friend, or family member of the referrer who wishes to open an account with the bank and is eligible to do so.
A referral is considered successful when the referred person opens an account with meem using the referrer’s unique referral code and funds their account. The referrer will only receive the cash reward after the referral is successful.
A referrer can refer up to 50 individuals and earn a maximum of SAR 5,000 in cash rewards from successful referrals during their entire relationship with the bank.
After opening an account, the referred person becomes a meem customer and is eligible for the full range of products, services, offers, and discounts that the bank provides to its customers. This includes:
Up to 3% cashback on all debit card purchases for the first three months, capped at SAR 500
10% cashback (up to SAR 2,500) on salary transfers to the meem account
The reward will be credited to the referrer’s OnePack account in the month following the referred person’s funding of their OnePack account. The reward will be credited by the 15th calendar day of the following month.
Example:
If Customer A refers Customer B (who has no prior relationship with meem in the past 12 months) on October 20, 2024, and Customer B opens their OnePack account on November 21, 2024, then makes their first deposit on December 15, 2024, Customer A is eligible for the reward. Customer A will receive the reward by January 15, 2025.
There is no minimum funding amount required.

Yes, the referrer can refer more than one invitee at the same time.
No, the referrer will not receive the referral bonus unless the referral code is provided and the referred person funds their account.
If a referred person is referred by multiple referrers, the referral code used by the referred person during account opening will determine which referrer is eligible for the referral reward.
